C.R.S. Section 26-5-105
Reimbursement procedure


Claims for state reimbursement under this article shall be presented by the county departments to the state department at such times and in such manner as the state department may prescribe. The state department shall certify to the controller the amount approved, specifying the amount of each county’s capped or targeted allocation. The amount so certified shall be paid from the state treasury, upon the voucher of the state department and warrant of the controller, to the respective county treasurers of the counties seeking the reimbursement, from money appropriated to the state department for the purpose of administering the provisions of this article.
