C.R.S. Section 8-78-102
Protection against loss

Such money shall be secured by the depository in which it is held to the same extent and in the same manner as required by the general depository law of this state. The state treasurer shall be liable on his official bond for the faithful performance of his duties in connection with the employment security administration fund provided under this article. The liability imposed under this section shall exist in addition to any liability upon any separate bond existent on March 15, 1951, or which may be given in the future.
