C.R.S. Section 24-46.3-504
Reporting requirements


(1)

On or before November 1, 2022, and on or before November 1 each year thereafter until the repeal of the SPARC program, the state council shall submit a report to the house of representatives business affairs and labor committee, the house of representatives energy and environment committee, the house of representatives education committee, the senate business, labor, and technology committee, the senate transportation and energy committee, and the senate education committee, or their successor committees. At a minimum, the report must include a summary of the energy sector career pathway and its implementation and the SPARC program, including an accounting of how money was used pursuant to this part 5 to expand or support training, apprenticeship, and education programs in the energy sector career pathway to increase employment in the energy sector.

(2)

The department shall also present an executive summary of the annual report on the SPARC program at the department’s annual presentation to the legislative committee of reference pursuant to the “State Measurement for Accountable, Responsive, and Transparent (SMART) Government Act”, created in part 2 of article 7 of title 2.

(3)

For purposes of the reporting requirement set forth in this section, the department may request data and information from entities receiving or using money appropriated for purposes of this part 5.

(4)

Notwithstanding section 24-1-136 (11)(a)(I), the reporting requirement set forth in this section continues until the SPARC program repeals pursuant to section 24-46.3-506.
