(1)

If, upon inspection, a boiler is found to comply with the Colorado boiler and pressure vessel code, the owner or user thereof shall pay directly to the section such fee as is prescribed by section 9-4-109, and the division of oil and public safety shall issue to such owner or user an inspection certificate bearing the date of inspection and the date of expiration of the certificate and specifying the maximum pressure under which the boiler may be operated.

(2)

An inspection certificate is valid for the period stated on the face of the certificate.

(3)

The certificate of inspection or a copy of the certificate of inspection shall be posted in the room containing the boiler inspected or, in the case of a portable boiler, shall be kept in a metal container to be fastened to the boiler. Failure to properly exhibit the certificate of inspection will result in another inspection of the boiler and demand for inspection fees.
