Benefits

  • classifications

(1)

Benefits are divided into classifications, as follows:

(a)

Regular benefits: Benefits payable to an individual under this article or under any other state law, including benefits payable to federal civilian employees and to ex-servicemen pursuant to chapter 85 of title 5 of the United States Code, other than extended benefits;

(b)

Extended benefits: Benefits payable to an individual under part 1 of article 75 of this title, including benefits payable to federal civilian employees and to former members of the armed forces pursuant to chapter 85 of title 5 of the United States Code, for weeks of unemployment in his or her eligibility period;

(c)

Additional benefits: Benefits payable to exhaustees, as defined in section 8-75-101 (2), by reason of conditions of high unemployment or by reason of special factors under the provisions of any state law;

(d)

Benefits not effectively charged: Those regular benefits, including the state share of extended benefits, paid but not charged to any active employer account.
